TRANSFORMASI BUDAYA ORGANISASI PESANTREN: MENJAWAB TANTANGAN ERA DIGITAL

Digital transformation brings challenges and opportunities for traditional educational institutions, including pesantren. This research explores how Pesantren Sunan Ampel adapts to organizational culture in the digital era. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research highlights the integration of digital technology in the management, learning, and leadership of the pesantren. The results show that the use of digital applications and online platforms can improve administrative efficiency as well as the effectiveness of the learning process. However, the success of this transformation requires participatory leadership patterns, digital skills training, and strategies to overcome cultural barriers and limited access to technology. In addition, the adaptation process requires a balance between the application of modern technology and the preservation of traditional pesantren values. This study concludes that organizational culture change is an important element for pesantren to remain relevant in the digital era, while maintaining their identity. The findings provide insights for pesantren and other educational institutions in facing the challenges of modernization without losing the essence of tradition.
