ANALISIS KURIKULUM MULTIKULTURAL TERHADAP PENINGKATAN TOLERANSI DAN KESADARAN GLOBAL SISWA

This study aims to explore the impact of multicultural curriculum on students' tolerance and global awareness in Indonesia. Amidst the diversity of cultures, ethnicities and religions that exist, multicultural education is considered important to build an inclusive and peaceful society. This research uses a literature study approach by analyzing various sources that discuss the implementation of multicultural curriculum in Indonesian schools, as well as its impact on students' attitudes towards diversity and global issues. The results show that a multicultural curriculum can improve students' understanding of cultural diversity, as well as instill values of tolerance and social justice. However, its implementation faces challenges, such as teachers' lack of understanding and limited policy support. Therefore, there needs to be more effort from the government and schools to integrate multicultural education effectively, including training for teachers and the preparation of more in-depth technical guidelines. This research is expected to contribute to the development of a more inclusive education policy, which is able to answer global challenges in the era of globalization.
