Abstract

This study is grounded in the urgency of developing a learning model that not only emphasizes cognitive aspects but also integrates spiritual values and proper conduct (Adab) into the educational process. The decline in moral values and the weak internalization of religious principles in learning practices serve as the primary background for this research. This study aims to examine the concept of a learning model from the perspective of Muhammad bin Shalih al-Utsaimin, identify the factors that support and hinder learning success, and analyze its relevance to the goals of national education. The method employed is a qualitative approach using library research, through the analysis of relevant primary and secondary literature. The findings reveal that learning is regarded as an act of worship and a form of striving (Jihad) that must be grounded in sincerity, adab, and piety, with stages consisting of information, transformation, and evaluation. Supporting factors include piety, diligence, and the role of teachers, while inhibiting factors involve spiritual diseases such as envy and arrogance. The implications of this study indicate that an Islamic values-based learning model is relevant in shaping students who are faithful, morally upright, and well-characterized, thus offering an alternative approach to holistic and sustainable education.
